Welcome to http://www.frozenropephotography.com In my last post I showcased the stunning Blue Green Hydrangea I was privileged enough to see growing in my mother’s garden. I know from experience in the flower market that Hydrangea can be very expensive especially uniquely colored varieties. In this post I show case some more of the flowers in my mother’s collection in her garden.
Here’s another amazing flower I didn’t realize I was privileged to see growing naturally in mom’s garden.
This shot reminds me of Michael Jackson’s innovative “lean” forward move. These babies are all on slant.
The glory of it’s perfect imperfection. This could be “the rose that grew from concrete” Tupac spoke about in his poetry. Check out the damaged petals.
Is it red or pink or a deep pink? Hot pink maybe or a brilliant shade of red? What say you?
I love the subtle pink in the center of this flower. Simply beautiful.
The glory of God’s creations. I asked my mother what the name of this plant is and she told me Hostas.
One thing I know is mom’s garden is full of a wide variety of plants and flowers.
This is a young Hydrangea growing nicely.
The Yelllow Day Lilly.
Here are some more of the beautiful hot pink flowers in mom’s garden. She told me these are called Tea Roses.
Little bursts of yellow
This one I believe is Mint.
And last but certainly not least here’s a close up on the Mardi Gras Rose.
These were all shot in The Bronx. All images are the property of http://www.frozenropephotography.com (c) 2015, All rights reserved.
